You benefit from the variety of my writing and editing experience, ranging from unscrambling the technical ramblings of engineers and software developers to writing short articles and blog posts about personal development and wellness. See my complete bio.
The written word is a powerful communication tool, but words have little value unless organized in a way that gives your readers the information they want. My goal is to produce concise, informative, readable content (keeping in mind SEO, when applicable) that you can use to provide valuable information to your customers/clients and promote your business.
Whether you hire me to write short blog posts or edit a 200-page technical manual, your project receives the attention it deserves, and I take special care to work closely with you to ensure you receive what you want.
I quote rates based on the nature of the project. To get started, e-mail me with as much of the following information that you have (and anything else you consider relevant):
- What you want written, the subject/topic, and its purpose
- Expected length (word count or number of pages)
- Desired completion date
- Do you have existing writings with which you want me to work, or will I be starting from scratch?
- Can you provide research resources, or will I have to research the project from scratch?
- Your contact information (name, email, and/or telephone number)
- Website/blog URL (if applicable)
"Carol has worked with me to contribute several articles for two different websites. Carol has the ability to present topics succinctly and in language that conveys expertise, but in a way that is still very accessible to readers unfamiliar with the topics. Carol is very reliable and all of her contributions show her willingness and ability to do the research necessary to present assigned topics intelligently."
- Ashley Boyce, XYZ Media
"I want to thank Carol Wiley for her professional and thoughtful editing of my words. Without her assistance, the process of getting this [project] done would have been forever stuck in the good intentions phase."
- Lavon Watson, Massage Cop
